How can I reset myt administrator password on e-machine w-3609

It appears that someone has placed an Administrator password on the machine. To reset the Administrator password, unplug the desktop, open the side cover, remove the CMOS battery for 10 minutes. Then replace the battery, cover, plug the machine back in and reboot, hitting ALT+F10 at the same time to enter the recovery mode.

First before we go on to the in depth steps, are you sure you can'tremember and you forgot password? Have you thought of everything?Dates, names, places, foods, birthdays, etc?

Are you an administrator account or a standard user on the computer? Ifthere are other users on the computer, and one of them is anadministrator, they can go on and make the system reset password.

if that dont work you need to try some password recovery tools.

if that dont work then you need to reinstall windows

I suppose that you don't have administrator password.
If you have Xp installed, press twice CTRL+ALT+DEL and type at username Administrator and hit enter.
From there, in the Control Panel, Administrative Tools, Computer Management at the users section you can reset your password.

system reboot, try it, should work, u myt hav to lose all your work but it is probably the only way, or maybe if another user is an administrator, they can go into your account and take it away, there's a chance...

If you have the router, the default username and password is usually printed on the bottom if not try these.

try these in any order and switch round passwords to usernames these are the default passwords, if these dont work, then a simple push button reset will sort you out.

If you haven't sent default Administrator password, you can choose safe mode. Original Administrator user will appear after safe mode selection. Steps are easy;

right after turn on the computer hit on F8 button, If you miss the advance boot option you can try again, you can hit on F8 key multiple times in order the catch the instance. once computer give you advance boot option choose safe mode, when users window comes up click on Administrator. By default it has no password.
