Does anyone know how to change the date on Timex clock? After this new daylight savings time, my clock was off, I was able to change time and year manually but do not know how to change month and day. I even disconnected power and battery, now I'm stuck on 12/31.

Q: My clock did not update for DST. A: We apologize but there is no patch available. Consumers must change clocks manually. Due to newly enacted government regulations, effective this year you must change the time manually, since the calendar was programmed to change according to the time DST issued by the government, it will not recognize the change after 2007. Now the time must be changed 4 times. Press & hold the time set button until the time flash, then release it and press the ff >> or << rev buttons.
See the comments under Petewete. There is no way to disable it on the T301B model. Changing time zones doesn't help because all 7 zones observe DST, or at least they did before 2005. (Now Hawaii Zone 7 does not). I know because I tested all zones. The workaround is complicated: before each time change, pretend it is the old DST date (1st Sunday in April or last Sunday in October) by resetting your date. My spouse says to fix the problem by hitting the snooze button with a 20-pound sledge hammer.
We set the time zone to '7' , which is Hawaii time zone where there is no change for daylight savings. This came up because it changed automatically on this morning...and although we can change it back, then it won't change next week when it should. So we're hoping that by setting it to Hawaii it will be a regular clock, we will do the changing...but at least we won't be surprized as we were this AM. lb
There was a sheet of paper that came with my clock explaining how to adjust the daylight savings time settings, but I lost it. Anyone have theirs? All i know is it requires that you press an awkward combination of buttons simultaneously, but that's it.
If DST is *already* set to "on" when you reset the time zone to Z-07 (Hawaii), my very recent experience is that the time *still gets adjusted back* by one hour. Now that daylight savings time is over (at least according to the clock's pre-programmed and outdated schedule) I'm hoping that setting the time zone to Z-07 (Hawaii) will completely cancel the automatic time changes from now on. Otherwise, I need to purchase another clock, and it won't be a Timex.
Can not set time to Daylight Savings Time. How can I acquire a manual?
