Here is a link to the manual: http://books.jvcservice.com/download/718134980/32506.pdf There does not appear to be a way to set tuning to european standards. Is there a particular reason you want to be able to tune those frequencies?

Hi, thankx for coming back. i'm live South Africa, our tuning is normally set to European standards. I managed to get a way to do it. "Hold FM/AM and Press #5" this resets it to European standards.

My jvc kd-g300 head unit shorts out and comes back on when i turn it up louder than 20-25 esspecially if the bass is turned up

Could it possibly be a loose wire behind ur deck that connects itself when bass starts to hit? Just an idea of a possibility..otherwise check all possible fuses that could be responsible for the loss of power.

How do i change the time on a jvc kd 6210

1. Press and hold SEL for a few seconds.
Display should say "DEMO" "CLOCK H" "CLOCK M" or "DIMMER".

2. Press the tuning arrows to get the one you want. It should cycle through the 4 choices.

3. Use the knob to change the numbers.

4. Press SEL when done.

I thought it was kd-6210 but its kd-G210, need a magnifing glass to see the etched "G".

RAdio skips two numbers when tuning

You have a US tuner not a European one. Only European tuners can change the even numbers. USA uses the odds. As far as I know, the US models aren't capable of tuning to the evens.

Tuning station problem

Try this: "Hold FM/AM and Press #5". This solution is for a different model JVC stereo, but hopefully it will work for yours as well.

JVC KD-G720 car stereo - how to change the time?

Press and hold the SEL button to bring up the settings menu. Press and release the tuning (>>>) buttons until you see CLOCK H. Turn the volume knob to select the hour. If necessary, press (>>>) for CLOCK M; adjust the minutes setting with the volume knob. Press SEL when you're finished. Jvc kd g300

Setting the minutes is easy. Hit the SEL button for 2 seconds, and you can set the minutes by turning the knob.

Setting the hours is much harder. I don't know the official way, but I can offer a work-around.

To change the hours backwards (as in daylight savings time in the fall), wait until one minute before the hour (X:59). Then set the minutes to 00 (effectively going back 59 minutes). After a minute (or two), when you are now in the correct hour, set the minutes to the correct minute.

Changing the hours ahead (as in daylight savings time in the spring) is easier. Change the minutes to 59. Wait a minute (until the hour rolls over), and then adjust the minutes back to the proper time.
