How do i clean the pump for the delonghi ec702?

The steam temperature control (Thermostat) is not functioning.
The small quantity you get at the start is the steam pressure build up with hot water. Water steam cannot keep up the pressure.
Replace the steam thermostat.

first perform a chemical cleaning, place the chemical in the water tank and then this hot place to make coffee, so that the chemical clean pump and piping hot water, repeat this until you spend all the water,
if not repaired you may have problem with the water pump, solenoid or inlay is great need to remove the tubes and clean them out

I had same problem, now gone. Check your water Intake filter in the water reservoir. If it looks discolored, it may be clogged. I used a brush and plain water to clean it off, and now machine works like brand new!

This is called "Eddy current" and will have all electrical equipments works with AC mains voltage. If you touch on the body of your desktop computer, you will fell it there too. Once the milk frother jug is removed, there's a little catch, pull this gently towards you and it will open the unit.

I suggest you try cleaning/descaling again. Possibly the scale that was loosened did clog the coffee maker up.

nosolo, i descaled my machine with water and vinegar do you think i damaged my machine? I can't even get it to pump water, when i turn my machine on, it's silent, how do i descaled it again?

Check your operating manual for decalcification. do not use vinegar you may demage the machine
