Epson CX3810 started leaving blank streaks, now no ink on page

most nearest problem is that ink head not working may be some ink stock inside and no maintenance for that, you need to replace printer head assembly. practically its better to buy a new one.

If this started after cartridge was replaced, then it is probably defective.

Take the cartridge out and take a look at the print head. Clean the print head.
Put the cartridge back in
Try and feed paper (not printing anything on it, if you can not get it to just feed paper, print a blank page) and see if it still has lines. If so, you are probably going to have to clean ink from inside the paper feed area. If not, try using it for a while and if it starts again, get a replacement cartridge. You might want to save some of the bad prints to show the clerk and try to get the new cartridge under warranty.

Do you refill ink tank? Print blank pages. Is there horizontal lines appear? It might be caused bay ink leakage. Check respiratory hole at ink tank and rubber seal at bottom of ink tank. Print blank pages until no horizontal lines and try to use new ink tank.

I had the same problem and had to clean the nozzle tubes. After cleaning the tubes, printer worked great again.

Hi there the likely thing is that there is a small blockage in the print heads not allowing the jet to fire and causing a blank line. You could remove the print head turn it upside down using a soft cloth clean the print head also use a alcohol based fluid to aid you.

Try this if it's doesn't work then the print head will need replacing you will be able to buy online.

Did you remove the seal stickers from the cartridges before putting them into the printer?

If you try the print head alignment or head cleaning wizard under the maintenance tab, they may help!
