Question about Hoover H3030 FloorMate SpinScrub 500 Upright Wet/Dry Vacuum
I have a hoover that spins and scrubs. The four brushes do not spin. I have the idea that the "turbine" is air powered because I see no connection to the motor. All I see are two white hoses connected to the "turbine" housing. Could the hoses be clogged or the gears locked? I could be mistaken about the air power. Please educate me. (I opened the turbine up and added more grease thinking it might help the brushes turn more freely. They now don't turn at all). Thank You
Hey, I am wondering is anyone watching over this site. I have seen many questions about brushes not spinning on the hoover vacs but now response except one back in April that said something about taking the bottom over off and checking something but the person wrote back asking how to take off the cover and got now response. I also can't figure out how to get the cover off. Mine is the F5906-900

I have had two of these... both broken. The handle and tank on one and this one today seems to have lost a belt or gear between the brushes and the motor. The brush assembly seems to spin as it should by hand. Slight tension from pushing what sounds like some gears around. Can't open it up to see whats in there but my guess is a belt between the motor and gears on the brushes. But no entry equals trash. My origonal idea of buying the same unit for spare parts has become a waste of time, money and effort. I wonder if Dyson has jumped into this market yet?

How do I remove the hose from the back of the brush roll part? It has a clog.
