Question about Maytag MAH6500 Neptune Front Loading Washer w/Built in Water Heater

Maytag washer hi i have a neptune front load washer(mah4000aww). It's just started not working. It will come on briefly when I push the start button, then make a beep , beep , beep noise, then turn off.? Can you help me figure out whats wrong? Thanks for reading this. Mary Mchugh

when start washing machine it will run and then stop inbetween cycles

My Maytag is a Neptune front load. When you push the start button the red start light comes on and you can hear the water start and the light turns off within seconds and everything stops. If I hold the switch down it keeps working, you can hear the relay click.

It helps trying to actually weigh your dirty linen. Try to wash within what is mentioned in your manual. Also see that the door is closed firmly. Would be useful if you'd post back results.....

two problems here,
your shaft seal is running on its last leg
the sound is unmistakeable and always described the same...
the water issue, you probably have a trickle leak through the cold water valve
the mixing valve is quite an easy repair, but I would have to say with all honesty, it probably time for a new machine
the hub seal is a tub replacment call
2 hrs of labor if hes good
and the tub runs around 500.00 dollars
