The wing tip tubing is stuck so tightly to the pari vios nebulizer compressor that I can't get it off. Any suggestions?
Searched Google today for this same problem - Vios nebulizer tubing is stuck to the compressor at the blue rubber wing end. I tried everything, including pliers, but today stuck a letter opener in and pried it off. Adding my comment for other people searching who land on this page!
So I took a 10 mm open sided wrench and put it between the device and the stuck tubing. It's important the the wrench firs snuggly and isn't slipping above that area. Using the device as an anchor ( making sure the tbung area is facing straight upwards, pointed at the sky) I gently and patiently holding the wrench 1/2 an inch from where it hits the edge of the machine used it to pull the tubing upwards( meaning I was pushing the wrench down on the corner/edge of the device forcing the part hugging the tubing to pull it up) I rotated the wrench after every 3 tugs and after 1 revolution of doing this I got the tubing to come straight off. I did use a hair dryer to warm up the rubber so it woukd slack a but in order to fit thebwrench underneath it but it finally came off. The air compressor I used it on it portable pari trek s air compressor. Hope this can help someone else. You never want to agressivky force anything off because you can damage the device, the piece the tubing goes onto and you don't want to cut the tubing either because getting off the thinck rubber part will be extreamly difficult. Patients and an intuitive resourceful approach is always the best. Hope this helps.
@rachael THANK YOU!!!!! I just about had lost hope on this $80 machine that we need so much!! Thank you and way to go for being resourceful with your tools!!!

I did a push-pull on the successful attempt, but only after all the other pulling, twisting, bending etc., which probably warmed the plastic up enough to expand it so it came off. Hair dryer sounds like a great idea, I will try that next time.
Hello. I had the same problem for almost a week. Knowing my insurance would not pay for another one, after a trip to the emergency room for a breathing treatment I was more than ready to pay for one. We tried pliers, twisting and turning for hours and just about anything else. As a last effort I took the hemostats, yes I did from the first aid kit Stuck it under the thick blue tube gave it a twist and lo and behold it popped up and I just pulled it off and my machine works fine. I hope this helps someone.

Hi,
As a Registered Respiratory therapist I know that alot of equipment issues with nebulizer are creative plumbing type things. I found your needed part available thru "American Allergy Supply 1-800-221-6483." Are you sure with a bit of wiggle that a simple oxygen tubing connector wouldn't work? Just asking.

Just removed mine with a dull everyday knife. It just popped out. Thanks for the idea.
