Empty water light staying on machine will not work

What worked for me is - put some water into the dirty water tank before you run it. My experience was, if I ran the machine with an empty dirty water tank, it stayed empty and didn't pull in any dirty water. If I put a little water in it beforehand, it helped seal the suction and get the thing started. Hope this helps!

I had this same problem. Turns out that tons of crawling insects had been living in my machine and caused an electrical fault. On my machine, this issue stops when the machine senses the water is empty, so you can try just removing the water level magnet from the tank. If you do, you still get the low water beeping and flashing red light. I sorted that by disconnecting the beeper and light from the main board but I had to open the machine right up for this, so that will take much more effort. Didn't really FIX the problem, but did circumvent without much loss of function (except the low water warning). See if that works.

Sounds like your float is stuck in the full position, or the sensor that shows full is stuck on full.
If tank is empty but shows full, problem lies where full signal is coming from.

I have the same problem, just checked the switch and its all ok. But the machuine also stops and starts when its trying to empty after the last rinse cycle to start the spin cycle. Starts to drain then stops and repeats, it does empty some without stopping but starts to go silling when its nearly empty?

there is a float switch at the pump that has become stuck, and when this happens, the "empty water" light will stay on and the machine will operate but with no heat. just locate the floating switch and give it a light tap back into its place, this will solve your problem.

The only thing thats comes to mind is the reed switch and the float on the water tank. Check the float make sure the magnet is working, if yes then the reed switch on the inside of the machine is not in the correct position.

it should be a float whitch..somewhere around that bucket....take a look, sounds like it stuck ..and tripping whole system

allways with this type of unit it is best to always empty the container after every dry,this is because when the water rises in the pump chamber it operates a switch which shuts of the heater and puts on the light. and they stick quite a lot,disconnect from power and rock the appliance from front to back quite hard and this should rectify the problem

Washing machine stops at the spin cycle - light flashes. Have to drain water out manually. Happened last week and was then able to run an empty rinse cycle. Machine worked normally for another week. Same problem today but have had to drain water manually from the drum after trying an empty 90 wash and rinse cycle (both stopped on the Spin and flashed). Any ideas? Thanks. x
