Motorola V3i Memory Card has a Virus

Hi I was transfering music from my friends Nokia and along with the music came a virus. I was unable to delete the virus. However my phone works without the memory card, when I put in the memory card it tells me that the card is not formatted, when I clik on format now it shows format failed. I cannot format my card nor can I use it. Please help me. Thank you in advance.

I just had this problem with a brand new memory card. After taking it out and reinserting it the card works fine. It could be that your card is just not fully inserted.

My motorola v3i is not recognising my 2gb memory card

Hi neilmadhar  my name is arjun saxena. Well my MOTORAZR V3i had the same problem. The reason is that your memory card is corrupted because of some virus or file or removing it frequently. Just buy another memory card of whatever space. It will work. I am 101% sure. Trust me. Your MOTO RAZR V3i has a card holder which holds and reads the card. Don't worry, there is no problem with that reader. THERE'S A PROBLEM WITH YOUR CARD. IF YOU HAVE BOUGHT IT NEW, THEN YOU CAN REPLACE IT WITHIN THE WARRANTY OR TRY BUYING A SANDISK MEMORY CARD-ITS THE BEST!!!!!!!!!!!!
