ig4dev32.dll is an OpenGL library file, part of the Intel graphics accelerator drivers for Windows Vista. ig4dev32.dll probably came with your graphics card software you installed on your system. You may be looking at a registry problem, or a fragmented file. It's possible to replace that one file from the Internet. Search for the old one, and copy the new one on top of it.
If you have the graphics card software disk, try reinstalling it. Failing that, find a free registry checker/cleaner and see what it shows.
A more draconian approach wouold be to reinstall Vista, but the risk is that you'll lose a lot of work. You'd need a full data and program backup, or be prepared to reinstall everything you now have on the computer; a LOT of effort.
Vista is known as a relatively troubled operating system, and if this is only one of many problems you've experienced it may be useful to upgrade to Windows 7
If your telephone line may have disturbances from any electronic devices at any point then this could happen. Try moving other devices especially speakers, mobile phones and TV near the modem. Does your laptop wifi enabled one? Do you use telephone in that line? If so use a line filter with two out. could you give your laptop model no.? There is not enough details to pinpoint the problem
Windows 7 does not allow an upgrade from Windows XP. You would have to upgrade to Vista first and then on to 7. Also, it depends on which Vista you have that will determine which Windows 7 you can upgrade to. If you have Vista Home basic for instance, you cannot upgrade to Windows 7 Premium or professional. It is really screwed up. You can however do a clean install but you will lose all your old files unless you back them up on an external drive before running the new OS.
your Internet Provider must be Capping your Bandwidth... go to the Preference Tab and find the term called Bandwidth dedication and keep the bandwith sharing in a medium point.
How did you know you had a Trojan Virus that came from your cam ?
Reinstall your op using the disk that came with it ,Then always keep a backup .
I've been online for over 10 years without a virus ,I will tell you like I tell my brother
stop going to the porn sites (the best of virus makers) and you will be virus free .If you keep more then one copy of your op everything will be fine.
Sorry to tell you like this but a virus like in real life and on the web will always be there but unlike real life you can make a copy on your computer if you do it enough you lose little and not it all.
With internet explorer/firefox connectivity issues.. More than likely, you\'re having virus and/or spyware related issues. Go to download.com and download adaware and spybot and run full system scans and see where that takes. I\'d stay away from **** sites too :) lol
