My samsung HLS4666 tv will come on with picture and sound and then it immediately turns off with 3 lights continuously blinking like it is overheating and turning off. What could be the problem?

My shop had this problem yesterday. We had to change the DMD to correct it. One of the data lines was being drawn down intermitently. This doesn't eliminate the digital PCB, but, we have seen the DMD do this more than a digital. You should have an authorized shop do the repair. Might be a bad ballast, has the picture been dark?

Maybe try removing the dust filter on the back and cleaning it. If I recall correctly the TV won't turn on unless the filter is clean and fully snapped back into position.

all 3 lights blinking means lamp has a fault the service manual says replace the lamp. If you need the service training manual for that model let me know and I will post the link as the training manual has excellent trouble shooting breakdowns for that model DLP

It can be the Lamp Ballast as well as the Color Wheel.
