Its usually for most wireless equipment, press and hold the reciever button for a few seconds then press the button underneath the mouse, for it to kick in, but have windows loaded to desktop when you try it.. All the best John

Installation

Any piece of wireless hardware like a mouse of keyboard usually has a mating switch on it that you press to allow it to mate with the usb receiver plugged into the computer.

Press this and within a few seconds the mouse will work once again.

Dont remember how to get the mouse to work. I have an old version DynexRF 3d wheel mouse. I know it has something to do with pushing the buttons on both of them but just can't figure it out. I would...

Do you have the driver installed? If so, you should be able to just turn the mouse on, plug the receiver in, and go. If that doesn't work, try pressing Connect on the receiver, watch for the light to blink, and then press Connect on the mouse. The light should stop blinking and you should be connected.

Micro mouse

Well I am sure I have solved our problem. With a little searching on Google I came across this link to microsoft downloads. It's a PDF file and is a user guide that is relevant to a number of different wireless optical mouse's from MS. So here is the link, but I have also left a copy on the "User Manual & Guides" area of this site.

http://download.microsoft.com/download/1/3/9/139a8c30-34cc-4453-a449-7a1c586a3ae5/X09-50622_Wireless_Mouse.pdf

If MS were to make their support pages more user friendly I might have found it. I must have spent an hour going in circles looking for this exact guide.
Oh, the answer to our problem is that the laser does not shut off, it just powers down to a standby mode. Sneak up on it when next you are going to turn your computerand you will see the laser is in dim mode.

Anyway I hope this has answered your question, as it has done for me. Cheers Garry.
