You most likely didn't tighten up the belt tensioner, this adjusts the tightness of the belt, so as it stretches, during use, this can be, adjusted out.
Are you sure it is E15 and not F15?
F15 on an lcd display washer/dryer indicates dryer element faulty. this being the case then it will probably require a new element fitting.
Hope this helps
this is a common fault you can get hotpoint to replace the board at a cost of £90 or buy a second hand board for about £40 sorry but this is your only option without sending your board to qer
i have a hotpoint ultima ctd80 which i have had the last 2 years, it has shown error codes f11, f10 and f15, every time i fix this problem by first switching off and unplugging appliance then removing small cover from back (middle with 2 screws) then larger panel that the smaller panel overlapped. once you remove these you will see the heating elements, remove the 2 screws at the back off this, remove cover carefully then at the top you will see two things (not very technical lol i am a woman), with a pin press the pin in the one with a hole, mine makes a clicking sound when i do it, not sure if it meant to but works for me. put all parts back together and thats the job done. make sure both fillters and water emptied regular, hope this helps and saves you a fortune on call outs
Press "end of cycle" button for over 5 seconds, the child lock comes off. Press it again and the child lock comes on, this works for Hotpoints, you could try, no harm.
If it works, pl rate me.
Have suffered the same problem. Suggest you remove back (after turning off electrical supply) and look at the water outlet pipe - you may have a sock or two in this - remember to reattach outlet and secure in position.
This problem is caused by the heating element not working. The machine won`t spin & finish because the machine knows it hasn`t heated the water during the wash programe but clock will still count down.this is what we were told by a hotpoint engineer.the callout charge is £89.98
from hotpoint this includes parts & labour.
