Problems Okay I just got my new zen v mp3 player. I set everything up on my computer but when I pull up the page to start downloading it says that my player is not connected. I've reinstalled everything to see if that was the problem but still nothing. Also everything is connected double checked that. please help

You may have to charge the battery for a few hours, possibly overnight. If using a laptop use an usb on the back not side... this worked for me after some frustration !

My creative zen v plus has a problem with its firmware and i don't know what to do

Before reinstalling firmware, first backup your data from the player.
All data will be erased when the device gets new software on it.

Download the firmware from the support page.
Click "Show details" next to the firmware download for an overview of the requirements and instructions.
Connect your player with the computer and install the firmware:
do not disconnect until the installation has completed.

After this the player should have all its maps for the media.

go to Creative webiste and download the software for the Zen, then restore your zen with new software.

My zen mozaic lx is not reading to my computer

okay, it is not reading because you need the cd it came with and download it onto your cpu.(it has to be the kind of disk port that comes out. if you have the disk port that you just put in, it wont work.) if you have a little computer, and no disk drive, then you have to buy a one that goes into usb.

Firmware upgrades to the Zen V Plus fix bugs and sometimes upgrade the user interface, which can enhance your user experience and correct problems. You can upgrade your Creative Zen V Plus to version 1.32.01 through the Creative website.

Open your web browser and navigate the Zen V Plus support page (See Below). Click here > h Click "Download" under "Firmware" and choose to "Save" it to your computer. Connect your Zen to the computer using the Zen USB cable. Double-click the file that was downloaded to your computer to start the installation process. Agree to the terms and wait for the files to be transferred and installed onto your Zen.

Firmware error on creative zen

Check your LAN settings by going to Internet Options, select "connections" then LAN settings, then check the box that says "automatically detect settings". Click okay, and that should fix your problem. You have that have those options enabled to let some common programs detect your internet connectivity.

Recovery Mode

The same problem happened to my sister when she reformatted. All you have to do is go on the internet fine the latest firwire software and download it on to your Zen V Plus.
