The door on my oven has never completely closed and sealed. There is roughly one centimeter of slack between the door's closed position and the fully sealed position. I've removed the door and replaced it, and it appears to be fully seated in the hinge mechanism. I can't see any adjustment. Any ideas?

Hi someone lifted up on the door this ishowyou remove oven doors open the door about 1/3 then push down towards the floor it should go back into place, if not you may have to remove it clean the hinges then re-install it , I don't think anyone could have bent the hinges cause that would b very hard to do, but i have seen it done before , get back to me Frank
You will probably have to replace the springs I doubt if they can ve fixed. you can open the door all the way and you will see a hole in the spring just inside the door. you can stick a nail in that hole, both springs that will hold the door open and you can lift the door out and check the springs I will tell you to have patience its not easy.
Generally speaking, if a oven door does not close properly, and it is a drop down door, then it usually due to weak springs in the hinges.
There is no adjustment provided, so the only solutiom is to replace both door hinges.
