No picture when Turning on

When i start up my tv, the red light turns green, then red, then green again but the picture does absolutely nothing. If i leave it on in green mode for a while the TV will eventually turn on after a few minutes, but it shouldnt do that. Any ideas would be helpful.

Your trouble syntom is very common.. the problem of your tv is due to lost contact soldered part...if your inclined with this job i suggest you to reheat the board....this will take time but this is the best solution gud luck!!

I have a SONY KF-WE50 rear projection tv, a few weeks ago it started to turn the pic and sound off while the green light was flashing around 30 times. After the light finished flashing both the picture and...

the green is the reboot process and is normal.
the red light is an error code indicator.
count the blinks of the red light...it cant be 30 times (I think)
it will blink a sequence, pause, then do it again for a total of three times.
count carefully, it gives you three chances to catch the number it is blinking.

Tv won't turn on. It blinks green then red.

Hi,
Question shows tv is Sony KDF-60WF655.
Green light blinks when tv gets prepare to fire up lamp, check internal circuits then show picture on front screen.
Red light blinking shows some kind of internal problem during circuit check and protection got activated upon some failure.
Count the red light blink as you will see 3 second long pause and post it here to diagnose what section of tv got problem.
Did you replaced its lamp in last 2-3 years?

Polaroid 4011-tlxb. Power to tv and it was turning from red to green light when you press power button but no picture. Pressing any buttons on tv or remote and nothing was happening. Replaced power supply...

if you replaced the supply board then there is issues with the decoder board as you would need to chec kthat and see if its not the issue.

Sony Grand Vega green light blinks on and then blinks red

Please intimate exact model of your Sony TV and also mention how many times red light blinks as there would be pause of 3 seconds in blinks so count pause to pause and let me know to find out problem.
How old is this TV and did you replaced its lamp?
