During last one week, my camcorder started changing colour on the lcd display from white to green, blue, orange and finally display has lost and i am not able to see anything on lcd screen. Eventhough the camcorder is functioning properly it is very irritating without LCD display. i am not able to see anything on the lcd screen, but still i could blindly touch the screen and use the appropriate menu keys for stopping or playing/forward/rewind. What could be the problem on my sony HC 42 camcorder. Did anybody face this type of problem before. Please give me the solution. or any sony service center in hyderabad, india. waiting for reply srihari
Hello, in this case there is a broken flat cable called FP-185 pn:186476111. You should also replace the cover pn: 218843302. Best option for you is to contact the nearest Authorized Sony Service. If you need more info please advice
