Question about iLO 2600 Television

Screen is black

Was watching tv & it froze, changed channels & no picture, changed back to the original channel & it was black but the sound still worked, the tv is almost an year old. Is there an warranty for this? I can't find an web site on this . thanks, terry

it depends if its just that input or the whole tv itself if it works on other inputs it may not be to bad to fix, but if its the tv itself it depends on how old it is and how much you paid. it could wind up costing quite a bit. so take all those things into consideration. it might just be time to upgrade

I do not see any reference on this problem and I even checked with Sony. If you are on a cable box, I suspect that is the problem.

TV or Satellite Box Problem?

Do you have a VCR or DVD recorder? If yes, set it to record what you are watching. After a "blackout" rewind the tape and review it. If there is a blackout on the tape, the problem is the sallite box, if not, it is the TV! QED

Channel jumping

Sounds like the PIP feature is causing the problem with the TV if you are connected directly to cable TV without a box inline and getting these issues.
