Front load washer won't run. Can't adjust control knob from "Normal" cycle. Beeps three times, flashes ERR and PAU and, alternately 47 - which may either be an error code or the cycle time. Can't run diagnostics or self test. I have the front and top off. I have looked at the door lock assembly and it runs "infinity" on ohm meter. I was thinking either door lock assembly or control panel. Thanks!

I have the same issue. Mine started after my 2-year old pushed a bunch of buttons on teh machine.
I have an LTF7000ES that appears to have the same type problem but mine is 45. I tried pushing buttons radomly but no results yet. Worked fine one day and the next nothing. Can't determine if there is any type reset button. Tried unplugging too.
It was the control panel in this case - Error 47. A simple 30 minute fix. The control panel is mounted inside the same plastic cowling that houses the digital display on this model. Top needs to come off (two screws) and then the housing (4 screws).
The control panel has several wiring connections but they are idiot proof (each connector has a different number of wires than its neighbor). The trickiest part is the stem for the selector knob. It needs to be aligned and then pryed out but once it is aligned it should come out easily.
Not that expensive either - A new control panel is about $135 from Sears and a number of other online parts distributors. I have to stress this worked for Error 47 and may not be the driver for what may seem to be closely related error codes (e.g., 46 or 48).
Good luck with your repair!
