Kenmore He4t frontloading machine flashing F 02" problem I have taken the front panel off and checked. I have no blockage. Did find coins, etc. but now problem is so bad, I have to keep my wet vac on hand and start sucking the water out of the resevoir, then the pump will take effect. Used to be able to get a couple of loads before this would happen but now it is all the time, not sure if I need a new pump or what.

U have something stuck in your water pump u need a torx 20 and some hose clamps unplug the machine take the three torx screws off the toe panel put the hose clamps on the white plastic waterpumps hose that goes from the back of the pump to the bottom of the drum unscrew the pump to the left and pull out you can also use the toe panel to catch some of the water pull anthing out of it that u can and replace everything back try taht first

I have received the HF error twice in the past year on this machine - Kenmore HE4T. Once it was something caught in the drain pump filter and the 2nd I forgot to turn the water supply back on when fixing the door from and DFL error. On the DFL error I replaced the door lock, door latch and door hinge for $100 in parts saving probably double that in labor. These repairs are fairly simple and the forums are a great source of information on the repairs.

I followed the first set of instructions, and it turned out to be really straightforward. The only difference was that my HE4T only had two screws on the toe panel. Thanks!

Kenmore elite he4t reads error 2f

Consult your owners manual; there is a list of common error codes that will help you identify whether or not you require to bring in a technician or you can solve it yourself. Being a retired sales manager with Sears, if I recall correctly the 2f refers to a faulty control panel, if you can't find your manual go to this site: http://www.searspartsdirect.com/?SID=MerchSearsxHSTopNavPartsDirect you should be able to download the manual there. Good Luck!

Washer won't start; has alternating "dl" and "f" errors....can't reset

This is a Door Lock Error. The service manual lists the following causes: Door Lock Mechanism is broken or removed from door. Door Switch Unit Lock Failure-Unplug washer and check door switch, wiring connections, and the connection to the CCU (Central Control Unit (You have to remove the lid of the washer for this). To get at the switch, you have to remove the lower front panel. These are torx, I believe 3 screws. By turning yourself on your head, you can visually inspect the lock, and manually lock/unlock to check for bind (pulling/pushing a black plastic handle about two inches long with a teardrop shaped handle on the end.
