I have lost my manual for my Cuisinart 12 cup programmable coffee pot. I put in water and a smaller amount of brewed coffee comes out. I have also cleaned it with a CLR solution and it still does not drip the amount of water I intended it to brew. Also the self clean light is now on and blinking and I don't know how to use this feature. Any ideas? Thanks.
I don't know how to use the self cleaning button on my Cuisinart 1200. Lost the manual. I see a link to go to but it keeps saying I reached the page in error. Could someone let me know how I am suppose to clean it using the self cleaning button?

Here is the link to the manual http://www.cuisinart.com/share/man/25_man.pdf page 8 - looks like you have a calcium buildup - descale overnight using vinegar/water 50% if the self clean feature is not able to deal with the problem. hope this helps :)

I can t find the answer Here now, but someone posted to take out the filter on the left side in the back of coffee maker. I had tried the vinegar solution and it didn't work. I took it out, it was clogged with coffee grinds. I couldn't believe it had worked that long with all the junk in the filter. Anyway it is working fine now, like brand new. Who ever posted this answer, thanks a lot.

Usually answered in minutes!
please explain more, I don't have the manual. Let the vinegar / water solution sit in the resevour overnight and not brew it through? Do I push the self clean button? I don't think that function is broken, it is just blinking at me each time I brew coffee.
Thank you.
I'm a dork, I didn't see the link the first time I looked. Just cleaned it and it isn't flashing anymore.
Thanks much!
:-))
The self cleaning button doesn't seem to be working anymore. It won't come on anymore although the coffee maker has calcium build-up. Because it doesn't come on I am unable to use the feature. It won't suck the vinegar mix water into the hose and hold it there anymore. I have tried to push it on my own and it will brew for a few minutes then the beeping will sound that indicates the brewing is done even though only a small amount of water has come through into the carafe. I have to keep pushing the self-clean button and turn the coffee maker on in order to get it to work for the few minutes it does. what is wrong? do I need a new appliance? This one is about 3 years old. Thanks!
Thank you so much for the link to cusinart's manual. My brewer leaked only a little of the 5 cups of brewed coffee. I looked inside and all the water was inside the water filter with the grounds. It was drinkable after I held the spring up to let the brewed coffee go through. I thought I was just going to have to recycle it. I think it will be fixed now. I'll let you know. Marci
I lost my instructions and today I noticed the "clean light" was flashing.
I need directions on how to clean my coffe maker.
Please advise.
Thanks
