Self clean feature on coffee pot

please explain more, I don't have the manual. Let the vinegar / water solution sit in the resevour overnight and not brew it through? Do I push the self clean button? I don't think that function is broken, it is just blinking at me each time I brew coffee. please explain more, I don't have the manual. The self cleaning button doesn't seem to be working anymore. It won't come on anymore although the coffee maker has calcium build-up. Because it doesn't come on I am unable to use the feature. It won't suck the vinegar mix water into the hose and hold it there anymore. I have tried to push it on my own and it will brew for a few minutes then the beeping will sound that indicates the brewing is done even though only a small amount of water has come through into the carafe. I have to keep pushing the self-clean button and turn the coffee maker on in order to get it to work for the few minutes it does. what is wrong? do I need a new appliance? Thank you so much for the link to cusinart's manual. My brewer leaked only a little of the 5 cups of brewed coffee. I looked inside and all the water was inside the water filter with the grounds. It was drinkable after I held the spring up to let the brewed coffee go through. I thought I was just going to have to recycle it. I think it will be fixed now. I'll let you know.
