Re: Keys are under the drum of a model #ATF600FSO; how do...
You will need to try and see if you have a front access panel you can take apart from the unit, underneath the drum and access the pump area and see if you can locate your lost keys.

Hi Marc,
Unfortunately, access to the pump & filter is harder on the HEXW2 model than the Duets with the removable lower panel.
First you have to remove the lid panel (screws in top rear), then pull slightly rearward and up/out.
Next you'll have to remove the control panel, then remove the front drum boot from the front panel lip. A large diameter thin wire spring holds it in place, located just under the rubber lip edge. Begin the spring removal from a wire tab located toward the lower portion of the lip.
Then remove the door latch screws (IIRC), and the screws at the bottom edge and top of the front panel. The entire front panel must be removed to access the drain filter.
The door seal on a front loader is usually part of the boot that seals the drum from the front panel of the machine. It is held on over lips on the door and outer drum. Pull the seal away from the front panel and it should reveal the lip, now pull the seal off the lip working around the whole area. Push the seal into the drum and work it off that lip too. Replacement is the opposite of the removal and just requires a little patience. (Take you old seal with when purchasing a new one to make sure you get the right part).
Hi, The problem is due to the rubber boot is been torn that is causing you the leak. You have to check the rubber boot for leaks by removing the clamp assembly that secures the rubber boot to the outer lip of the door opening. Peel off the rubber boot then inspect it for any holes where it may be leaking. The rubber boot in your washer can be accessed only when you remove the front panel. This requires the removal first of the top panel then the console. Also check your inlet hoses on the outside of machine, also check the connections inside the panel in back. Thank you !!

Hello, Remove the door hinges and plastic covers on the unused hinge screw
holes on the opposite side of the door opening (door is reversible, so
there are places to mount hinges left and right). Front panel will now
snap out at top and lift off lower spring clips. One screw on each side
will now release top panel and it will hinge up. Prop up with broom
handle or something. Now you can get at everything. Rubber gasket is
held onto drum with a cable
loop and very strong spring. It rolls off the lip easily to disassemble
but is VERY difficult to get back on without special tools or at least
two people. Door side of rubber gasket is easy in comparison with rubber
tabs inserted into slots and working the gasket into a groove. Hose
clamp at bottom of rubber gasket to connect drain hose.
firstly,if it isnt a bad tear you could always try putting a patch on it ie a puncture oufit for a tyre this works as i have done this for a lot of young single mums who cant afford a new boot.but to replace a new one then you have to take the metal strip off around the boot wich you call gasket, once done this it lifts off with a lip all around it then just pulls out make sure when replacing that all the lip sits all around the drum.
Yes it can be put back on without taking the drum apart. The larger end goes on the drum side. Fit larger end around drum lip make sure it seals all the way around, install spring around seal. Smaller end goes around door opening. Install seal around outter lip and install spring around seal.
is it a metal wire connected at bottom with a 2-3inch spring???? is so it secures the "bellow to the front lip of the machine. youlll need to stretch it over the front "bellow lip after installing the "bellow"
you may have some clothing or such under the drum , pull back the rubber lip and look under tub. or the drum bearing is going bad. does it turn easily .
There is no inspection panel, believe it or not!
