Problem is caused by worn paper feed tire, and seperation tire. The worn tires causes vibration on the seperation plate. Replace both tires.

When recieving faxes on our canon laser class 2050p, the machine has a loud squeak

Your rollers will need to be replaces. Rollers feed the paper through the tray. You can find paper feed rollers for your device here:

http://www.precisionroller.com/paper-feed-components-for-canon-laser-class-2050p/products.html

They are very straight forward to install and instructions should be in your manual.
