You will find that the power supply has failed and is no longer supplying the VS voltage that the screen requires to produce a picture. Call a specialised engineer that is authorised to work on your make ot TV.
I assume this is a plasma TV? You will have a fuse blown on either the Y or Z sutain board, there is also a possibility one of the driver IC's has blown on the buffer board, this will shut down the screen & leave the audio working normally. You can check these boards which sit on the left & right hand sides of the screen.
3 times blink shows lamp cover is removed or not installed properly on TV. Please take out lamp inside TV and check, seems its broken as you heard loud pop. Thanks.
If there is no picture but sound is audible then replacing the projection lamp will do otherwise, the TV requires to be diagnosed for any other hardware damages.
