you do not need to replace the whole burner base you need to replace de ignitor

you need to replace the spark module

A common problem with that type of ignitor is that the porcelain insulator (much like a spark plug has) can crack easily. When it does, there will be a clicking sound, but the spark no longer arcs from the top of the ignitor post to the burner and cannot light the gas. Without an intact insulator, the ignitor is effectively shorting out and needs to be replaced.

Hi the spark box is shorting out have put a new one in or the ignition switch is faulty

need to replace the ignition coil.no adjusment the unit is power operated 1st check the plug,outlet or main swicth sometimes not properlly connected.

you can try to scratch the area where it grounds to with a wire brush or screw driver this will help sometimes. sometimes when it archs down try tighten the screws to lift up the ignitors into the hole better. or if this doesn't work replace the ignitors.

Jenn Air uses a reignition system on their gas cooktops.It is very important that you have a well grounded recepticle. Please check that and please get back to me.

it will be due to the lack of lubricant inside the fan and a part of the cylinder can be broken due to wear and tear u open that assembly and verify it if everything ok put a little grease or oil and close it

Replace that ignitor on that burner only. Not drawing enough amps to spark properly.
