My sanyo tv has been working fine until one day when I walked into the room and it had fallen. I think it may not have been sitting flat when i left the room. When i re-entered the room, i found the tv had fallen about 3 feet onto the floor, with the screen on the floor. I set it back up, and the sound works fine on all the channels, but the screen just stays black. I tried to re-plug it in and it didnt work. can you please help me? If i cannot fix it myself, then how much would it cost to get it repaired? Thank you
Probably you need to replace the picture tube or maybe theres a loosed connection in the high voltage circuit or the video circuit due to the fall. if the picture tube is the problem, you better buy a new tv coz replacing it is not practical and economical. but if it is only loosed connection just bring it to a qualified technician for sure he will not charge you too much for this problem. good luck!
