Dell 922 All-In-One InkJet Printer Logo

Question about Dell 922 All-In-One InkJet Printer

Printer Not Working

For some odd reason my printer is not responding. The light on the printer is on. When I unplug the printer it makes a noise like it knows that I am unplugging it. The display on the printer is clear. I also tried pushing all of the buttons and nothing happens. I went ahead an uninstalled the software and tried to reinstall, but now it is telling me to plug up my printer and then it will finish downloading the software. I am not sure if this had anything to do with it, but I plugged up my little girls digital camera to the computer and that is when the printer started all of this. Could that be part of the problem? Thaks so much.

Officejet pro 8500a premium power light on but touch screen is off and will not respond and the power button will not respond either

hi, Mr Justin Becker
i think its a power supply problem, first you should try another dc adaptor, if your printer works fine with the new one, you have to replace it or take it for repair.
if it is a DC Adaptor problem it cost about: US $29.74

I had same problem - just contacted Kodak live chat, they talked me through a couple of fixes which didn't work, so they ordered me a free replacement. The printer was 9 months old.

My IJ650 printer's two green lights are on, cannot be turned off, and the printer does not respond to computer's printing intructions. What is the problem and is the board damaged?

have you unplugged the printer and let it sit for 30 minutes? try that and plug it back into the power only!then check to make sure you have the right printer drivers for the printer. is this printer a refurbished printer? youll find a "refurbished" sticker on the bottom of the printer if it is. sometimes a refurbisher switches out the motherboard for another type. this means that the driver is also changed. if you have the right drivers then turn on the pc. turn on the printer. wait for the printer to finish making noises and plug in the USB cable. if this worked, youll hear windows little bing as it sees the printer. if those lights stay and the printer doesnt respond, buy a new one. the motherboard is bad in it!

My printer won't light up, make noises, or respond in any way was working prev day but came in to use it and won't even turn on

Remove both ends of power supply cord and then reconnect them. Try another wall plug...try a wall plug instead of a power bar. If nothing works, and your printer uses a power adapter, perhaps the adapter has failed.
