Hello, I bought the game "Medieval Lords". Then, I set it in my computer successfully. But when I want to open the game, I have this message : i get an error message that reads mcINI.ccp(1599) abort o

Check you have the correct Operating system and that you have the original game. If you are running the game on a machine with Vista or Win 7 you will have problems. Check this link to see if you have the spec required.

When I try to open Call of duty it apperas the error 998 and the message buffer overrun detected

Any time I've seen this error appear when playing a game it is caused by a bad graphics driver. I would suggest going to the website of the retailer that your graphics devices comes from and updating to the most recent driver and giving it a shot.

Many different things can cause buffer overruns. This is a common attack that hackers use to exploit bad C code. In this case, since it's a video game...I'm going to say graphics driver.

You can actually see an example of the same behavior here:

I hope this helps! If this did help you, please give a thumbs up!

Bought helldorado pc game, ive had this game a year now and still havent been able to play it , it says its install is sucessful but when i try to play it wont play

Hello Tracy,

If the game wont launch at all, please make sure all your drivers, especially video and sound, are 100% up to date. Even if your video card appears to be working properly, if the drivers are out of date games may not launch.

Thanks,

Pat

Write protected and disk not found are the typical messages that a pc gives when you try to access a memory stick in which the actual memory chip has died. Nothing more can be done to fix it - it's dead. Junk it.

Logitech G15 Keyboard not detecting WoW or other games

The follwoing threads talks about your problem, with solutions posted:
http://forums.logitech.com/logitech/board/message?board.id=hardware&thread.id=71

Basically,
  1. You need the latest WOW patch to get G15 LCD support.
  2. The applet for WOW launches at the Login screen for WOW. Until then it will not show up at all in the LCD control panel for the G15
  3. The search you did for WOW is only for the profile which does not do anything with the LCD. It only handles programming the G-Keys. When the applet launches it should display "World of Warcraft" in the LCD. Nothing about the profile launching. That's a different thing.
  4. Even though the applet for WOW is running, it may be disabled in the G15 software. To check this launch WOW and go to the login screen. Then go to the G15 LCD Control panel and make sure the box next to the WOW applet is checked.
Basically, for other software/games which don't have built-in support for the G-15, you'll need to download a custom LCD applet in order to display specific software/game info on your LCD when you launch that software/game. You can find good applet at g15forums.com.

Hope this helps
