Question about Miele Incognito G818SCVi Built-in Dishwasher
OK, I just posted "solution" #2 but now, at least, think I've actually found the solution to MY problem. It appears that there's a leak in the corrugated drain hose...not in the connection but in the hose itself! Can't imagine how that could happen because it gets no wear and tear, other than drain water flowing through it. But the leak apparently caused the D/W's leak detector to trigger and shut things down, displaying the intake/drain light as it's supposed to do. Now that's the good news. The bad news is that I've got to buy a new hose and replace it, meaning I'll have to pull out the D/W and snake the how through an adjacent cabinet to get it to its connection under the sink.

I've had this problem intermittently with one of my three Miele Incognitos, beginning about a year after moving into our new home. The offending Miele has a longer run between the sink and the D/W and I assume that's part of the problem. I've had success fixing it in the past by placing a garden hose against the black rubber gasket of the drain pipe (remove the back-flow valve unit first) and flushing the drain out. But tonight, that hasn't fixed the problem after three tries. I also checked the water inflow pipe and the leak sensor but can't detect any problems there. Not sure what to check next but this is getting exasperating!
Ideas????

Same thing happens to me. I was checking the Miele website and noticed that the Incognito has been discontinued. Perhaps this is a design flaw. I am about ready to replace the machine, but given the price, I hope someone knows how to fix it.

I have had same problem with no solution. Certified repair tech to home several times with tech support from Miele. A new pump was installed at my cost to no avail. For the cost of the machine I am very disappointed. By the way, my machine is 1.2 yrs. old!
