To clean the vpr you will need to take the lid off the machine. Be sure to unplug while doing this. First clean the water tray. You can unscrew the nut holding this tray and clean the tray in your sink. Put the tray back in and put the lid back on. Plug coffee maker in. Fill one coffee pot with vinegar and pour it in machine. After the water finishes coming out let the coffee maker sit overnight. Before you start filling the maker with water at least 6 times, be sure to clean the spray head. Make sure the 5 or 6 holes are free and clear of any build up. Then start with fresh water. Fill the coffee pot with fresh clean water and pour into machine. Let it finish and do this at least 6 times. If you can still taste or smell the vinegar repeat until you cant.
This is a clogging issue. Meaning it needs to be cleaned. So what I want you to do, if first read this manual that I am sending you via a e-mail link. Just copy and paste link in browser; I am positive it is just clogged. In the manual it will show you some tips on how to unclog it with tooth pick etc... then you want to flush whole system with water and vinegar. Here is the link to put in browser. http://www.bunn.com/pdfs/commercial/manuals/10424.0000.pdf
you can always clean a coffeemaker with vinegar, but always pour in cold, so you can do it twice or more, but dont re-use the stuff you just used, wait till it's cold or just use some other.after use clean by let water through 2 or 3 times, (also only cold water)
It sounds like the tank isn't full. Unplug the machine and make sure
there is a pot underneath to catch water. Pour clean water into the
tank until it starts flowing out. Plug the machine in and let it heat
up. Then try brewing coffee.
The way your machine works is
that there is a holding tank for the water and it isn't actually
brewing with the water you just poured in, it is using the holding tank
water. If the holding tank gets low, and you pour water in all it does
is fill the tank but nothing will come out.
