Blurry black & white photos

Hi, have had no problems with my camera at all until recently when I take a black & white photo it all blurs as if the camera is moving, even if the camera is used on a solid still surface. Any ideas? Would love not to have to send it away! Thanks!

Yes, only when in black & white mode. This is true but do you know of any other solutions? It ruins the enjoyment of taking pictures and seeing the finish straight away - a huge pro for me of the digital camera.

Are you saying this problem *only* happens when you put the camera into black and white mode? If so, you could simply shoot everything in color, and then convert the images to black and white after transfering them to your computer. The free photo organizer from Preclick (www.preclick.com) will do this for you and more.

I get blurred images, what seems to be the problem? please help

HI there blurry image came for 2 reason. 1. Lens not adjusting or focusing properly. 2. Sensor damage or your setting is on Macro / close up mode.
Just try this first and let me know. Set the camera as AUTO mode with flash and then take a day time photo. if that photo came blur then clean the sensor & lens external body and try again. If again the result same then you need to repair the lens settings. Thanks.

Is there any way I can clear up a blurry picture on this camera once the pic is already taken?

On TV shows, they can take a blurry picture and enhance it to crystal clarity. In real life, however, those kinds of miracles aren't possible. In a photo editing program like Photoshop Elements, you can bring up the sharpness a little but you eventually reach a point where the picture no longer looks like a normal picture. The slogan is "garbage in...garbage out"...meaning you can only do so much to what you have to work with.

Sir i have purchased nikon p100 camera from croma stores belapur branch , the problem with the barrel and there were gear noise and on taking photos in dark back ground of moon there were several white...

You have to know the MODE your camera is in. If you have it in the wrong mode you may not be able to take a photo in some conditions. You typically cannot take a photo of the moon on any auto setting the moon will be a white blob. The moon almost has to be taken manually.

Photo's blur alot

Blurness doesn't happens because of the number of the pixels in the cameras.
Is the picture on the computer screen blur/the cameras screen or the lens hole?

I suggest you to set the camera on Automatic station (red camera on the wheel) in day light, try to stay still see how blur the photos are when you are not playing with the parameters. it it's still blurry it could be the pulley block next to the -eyepiece. roll it until it's not blur.

Lcd is blery

What you describe may be caused by several different faults. Do the pictures from the camera show the same blurry washed out look? It may be either the aperture is stuck wide open, or the shutter may be similarly stuck open. Can you describe the symptoms further?
