Nokia nk7w wont let me pair with my nokia n95 or n85

I have no instruction manual for the hands free kit as it came with the car fitted the car is a used car and is a mercedes c class 2005 it has worked with my n95 then dropped it out it now wont let me pair with any phone.

What dave said.......some times these kits can play up.....if you see the light on the button on all the time then you need to cut the power to the kit and then reconnect it, this should solve your problems.

Disconnected the car battery waited for two minuites reconected the battery and hey presto it was like magic it worked again.

Cant pair to my phone
Try sending an MP3 to the Parrot kit. I couldn't even get the Parrot BT in my car to ask for the BT password numbers but found out to try sending an MP3, which will fail by the way, and it asked for the password finally.

There was an error in my case, but then the phone asked to connect to the Parrot again and the pairing worked.

There is an issue with newer Nokia phones, something I will be thinking about next phone upgrade.

It's possible that you need to reset the parrot - seems it might only accept pairing with one phone. On mine you hold down the red and green keys together until she tells you that she is clearing the memory, then she prompts you to pair your phone

You need to reset the Parrot first.

Hold down red and green buttons together until she tells you that the memory is being cleared. Then she will prompt you to pair your phone.

I have just spoken with 3 as I had the same problem with my Nokia N95.

The solution is:

Menu
select Tools
select Bluetooth
at top option blue tooth on - select right hand navigation button
it will say (no paired devices) select Options and select new paired device this will then seach for other blue tooth devices.
