NOT PRINTING My printing is not printing. I have checked the things that could be causing the problem but nothing is working. Please Help!!!!!

My hp 1210 pc will print but not from my computer. It prints pages when I push the printer button, but when I'm on the computer and go to print page, nothing happens. I have taken it to a rrepair shop two times and they say it' the printer which does not show as a device for the computer to recognize. How can I make it see the device?

Need more details, not enough to help. When you say not printing, does it feed paper at all, does it print nothing or some and not all? What have you don to solve it yourself, as this helps narrow the field. Post back as i would genuinely love to see it running. I have the same printer, and it is usually fixable without too muck fuss. Mine has been excellent so far and i have had it nearly 3 years. Havew you had it long and do you do regular maintenance or none?

I am trying to print a document however nothing is printing. I have placed new ink cartridges within and the printer takes in the paper and the noise suggests it is printing and recognising the text within...
First thing I always check is the last thing that I did... so ..i fi t worked prior to replacing the ink cartridge/s ..and you replaced them,... did you: peel off the protective tape from the cartridge before installing them? Did you install them correctly.. meaning are they properly seating into the printer and making proper electrical contact with the printer connector? Lastly, are you sure you have the correct ink cartridges installed? After verifying all those things, try printing a test page by going to the control panel..then printers... then select that printer shown with the right mouse button ... and properties in the popup menu for that printer.. it should allow you to 'print a test page'... you may also have a loose cable ( usb or parallel connector ) not seated right between the priinter and the computer... Hopefully, one of the suggestions listed above will get you going... Good Luck..

Hi Emma,
It sounds like your PC is printing to draft everytime, have you checked your printer settings within Control Panel, Printers? If nothing stands out to you then probably best thing to do is a reinstall of the printer driver, 99% of the time this will sort it.

Epson pro 9800 wont print
Don't print out of illustrator it causes a lot of heartburn. put the art into indesign or Quark and print from the layout program. That has always solved the problem for us.

My printer won't print
sir,
I think there is a pending printing jobs on your printer try to cancel all the printing jobs then restart the computer so it will reset all the printing jobs you have. repeat these steps untill its ok. and make sure there is a paper on the paper tray before you do it.
