Did you get any error messages? Since the BIOS is available, the problem is likely with the hard drive or it's trying to boot from non-bootable media (DVD, flash drive, USB connected floppy/hard drive). Since you can access the BIOS, look for the Boot Selection Order and make sure that the hard drive is first in the list. If the BIOS doesn't see the hard drive, it may be bad or have a bad power or data connection. (You can try opening the computer and reseating the cables - see Asus for any assistance. I am not informed on opening the F9e.)
If the hard drive is seen by the BIOS:
Disconnect any USB devices (and the optical disc if it is in the drive). Turn off the computer. Unplug the notebook from the power supply and remove the battery. Wait 10+ seconds (or a few minutes) then reconnect the battery and then the power brick. Try restarting the computer. (This is a hard reset.)

What do you see on the computer screen? If you see a blinking cursor, the computer doesn't have the boot manager available (either corrupted or a new disc that hasn't had the OS installed). Use a Windows install/upgrade disc/system repair disc for your OS version (the service pack must match) or a third-party disc management tool to attempt to repair the boot manager.

You will need the optical drive as the first boot device in the BIOS or press Esc to access boot order list. (On some computers, it's F12.) For Vista or Win7, boot from the CD and follow the on-screen directions until you see a list of choices. If the hard drive was previously working, click on Repair your computer. Select the OS to repair then click Next. Select the Command Prompt option. Type in bootrec /ScanOs to get a list of available Windows OS versions on the hard drive. Use the command bootrec /FixBoot to fix the master boot record. The command bootrec /RebuildBcd will rebuild the list of Windows OS versions. See http://support.microsoft.com/kb/927392 for details.

Installing a new hard drive and reinstalling the OS may be needed if you have a SMART or AHCI/SATA hard drive error. If you have a back up image, you may be able to restore that image.

I hope this helps. Please add a comment with any error messages for more assistance.

SOURCE: Dell Latitude c640 Disable BIOS memory

Just use recovery console of windows xp bootable media and use the following command.

chkdsk (to check the volume).
fixmbr
fixboot

It happens due to improper shutdown methods which has caused the system volume to corrupt the MBR.

How can I turn off "Safe Mode" on ASUS zenfone (appears in box in lower left of screen)?

Once you set right the parameter that caused you to go to Safe Mode at the first place, reboot the computer.
Reboot even if you do not know the above reason.
And it should not prompt you for Safe Mode anymore and should be in regular mode.

I have an asus F9E and it doesn't turn on anymore. What can i do????

Computer does not boot up The problem maybe the RAM, it is faulty or just needs reseating to make proper electrical contact.
Reseat the RAM and then boot up your laptop. If it still does not boot up then remove the RAM module/s and take them to your friendly computer repair shop and get them to test the RAM for you. Just like you sometimes need a mechanic to repair your car, sometimes you do need a technician to diagnose and identify the fault or faults on your computer. Not only does a good service technican have the experience to deal with this type of problem, they also have the equipment that allows them to look at things the average computer user can't see, and he has a collection of replacement parts that can be used to quickly test individual components on your computer.

I also have the same problem with may asus eee pc 1215b netbook. I dont know if i forgot the password of something has just gone wrong. Because the the first time i place a user and admnistrator password...

I had a similiar problem with a dell netbook. I had to boot up in safe mode, create a new account, then delete the account that would not take my password. That seemed to work. Couldn't tell you why the password was failing in the first place though.

Asus F9E series - When I connect to a wireless network, it says that it is connected. But, when I open a browser page, it says that the webpage is not available. What do I do to fix this?

if you are attempting to hack into someone else's network, nothing, and stop it, that's illegal. If you are trying to use your own network, you have the key wrong, and I can work with you on getting that resolved.
