If your Sansa player is freezing, not charging or not turning on, the first thing to try is a reset of the unit. This will normally clear any temporary condition that may cause the player to freeze or not shut off completely, it's a bit like when your PC crashes and you need to re-start it to clear the error.

The player froze while transfering files. I tried to reset it by holding the power button more than 20 sec, removed the battery, inserted the battery on reverse, with no success. At this point I don't know what I can do anymore, anyone has any suggestions?
