How do i reset an electrolux 1080

How do i rest an electrolux front loader ewf 1080, i have replaced the drain pump and water chamber and now it says e20. drain itself is totally clear and no kinks in the hose. do i have to reset the machine after i have replaced the parts?

E20 is an error code for a drain pump issue. The error will reset itself if the issue has been resolved. If it or another code continued to appear, then the unit has not been accurately fixed.

turn the dial to off. Press and hold the start pause and the nearest option button. While you're holding them down, turn the dial one notch clockwise.
The machine will beep or flash, let go of the buttons. Release the buttons, then turn the dial slowly, stopping at each click until you get to "off". Now, turn to any setting, then turn to off.

Now, try the machine. If it works, I'm very happy. If not, perhaps someone else can help.

Most likely the washing machine is stuck in Hold mode. Check if you have the spin speed knob at the correct setting.

You will need to remove the drum and reset the alignment.
The cloth is struck and has jammed on the drum movement.

Just a long shot - it may be the water inlet filter is blocked? normally there is a little mesh filter in the hose that screws onto the back - check that its not full of crap. This happened to me only a few weeks ago hope its as simple as that for you.
