It sounds like a display issue. To turn the unit off (soft reset) try holding the power for a full 30 seconds. I had a similar issue and thought I'd have to leave it on to shut it off (drain it) or connect it via usb to a pc (which does allow control again) This will solve the on-off issue but as far as what it is doing once it starts up, this isn't anything I've encountered specifically. I had a dead unit before but it had to be RMA'd (1-866-726-3475) They are very kind and helpful there and shouldn't be much of an issue (1yr from purchase or less required) If you bought yours from radioshack then you are in business. Some other retailers have different warranty lengths. Hope this helps. (Side note: If you don't care about the data, you can re-write the entire OS, and firmware, etc. from a ROM based chipset. Put hold switch to orange, hold down REC and then power on the unit. You should see the recovery screen at that point.) Let me know how it goes. Thanks. Kevin.

My RCA XL100 is hooked up to cable and works perfectly fine. We've had it for ages and the picture is clear, sound is beautiful, and it gets along fine with my universal remote. There's just one...

Some of their very old sets the video input was located on channels in the 90's; Try scrolling down from 99 to 90 to see if you locate the video input; this is just the way they did things in the older sets.

Before you rate this solution let me know what you find first.

Deleting songs

Chances are that you are using windows xp. open up your sansa folder to where it says pictuer, movies, ect. look at the picture to see what to do. In your player folder click tools --> folder options --> View. Under hidden files and folders click 'show hidden files and folders, click ok. The music folder would now show up where the videos and pictures are. Simply open the music folder and delete the ones you do not want. By default the songs are sorted by artist --> album --> song.
