Hi Please help. I have just had the new G1 phone, transferred all of my music to it. Downloaded a rings extended app to enable me to set my music as ringtone, but when my phone rings there is no sound. If i use a ring tone supplied this works fine.
I have gone into sound setting, and everything looks normal i.e volume turned up silent mode is off. If i use the headphones i can listen to the music
Take phone turn screen side up hold firmly with both hands extend arms 2 to 3 feet in front of you now drop the phone and kick with your strong foot as hard as you can yelling HTC " Have Turned Cheap" and felling the pressure release and the feeling of ha.

To transfer information or files from one phone to another phone, I think you can try MobiKin mobile transfer software. It can support two phones to transfer files. And you just need to connect the phones with computer via usb cable, and then select the wanted files to transfer as you like.
you should install PDANET software on Windows as well as on G1, that will make andriod as modem and can browse on Windows. If yo want to transfer datas, click Setting>Development> Enable USB debugging.
Go to the website phonezoo.com and sign up. It is absolutely free and there is no fee at any time. This website has thousands of ring tones and enables you to take music from iTunes or a CD and convert them into 30 second ring tones.
I was trying to transfer some ringtones from old phone to G1 and facing the same problem.
And now somewhere from net I found the solution to my problem.
Although it could not be done by bluetooth, but my problem is solved now.
You can also try it. It may help you out.
> Transfer ringtones/music/photos from your phone to Desktop
> Connect G1 to Desktop by USB cable
> On the top of G1 screen it will show the icon of USB (connected)
> Scroll down from the icon and select 'copy files from computer'
> Select 'Mount'
> On desktop a massage will appear, click 'open folder & show files'.
> Copy & Paste files from computer to G1. Now your files are in G1
> If you want to set any song as ringtone press & hold that song, a menu will appear and you can select 'set as ringtone'
download the free app ringdroid in the app market.connect g1 to computer and mount .drag music into music folder.then open rigdroid.the music you dragged into folder should be here.cut the waveform however you want then save. now you can go to settings and under sound and display you can assign your newly made ring tone to your default tone.
