Kenmore front load washer won't heat

Kenmore model 417.93042300 gas stackable dryer was working fine. Suddenly, there was no heat. The dryer drum turns but there is no heat. Instruction manual states there are two fuses inside & to check & replace if one is blown, replace it. Where are the fuses located, and how do I get inside to check & replace it?

The gas burner assembly uses solenoid coils in a circuit with the flame sensor to safely ignite the burner. When the dryer starts a heated cycle, the circuit through those components is energized. The igniter glows until it reaches the proper temperature to ignite the gas, at which point the flame sensor trips open and the current flowing through that circuit is diverted to the gas valve coils so the gas valves open, and the burner lights and continues to burn. If the solenoid coils on the gas valves fail, the gas valves won't open for ignition. If the gas valve coils are weak, the burner lights during the initial ignition sequence from a cold start but it fails to light the burner on subsequent ignition attempts. In this situation, replace the valve coils. I Had the same problem with mine and I fixed for like $25.00 US. Its not hard to do look at the video. Either buy your part from them or to get it fast and not out of this world go to "repairclinic.com

SOURCE: Dryer works and tumbles but does not heat

First, you must remove the front panel. Open the door and remove 2 screws on each side of the opening; 2 in the door hinges and 2 directly opposite from them. Then close and latch the door and pull on the top corners of the panel and it pivots down, then lift off the bottom brackets. Then start the dryer (making sure it's not set for air fluff or no heat) and watch the ignitor to the left side of the burner tube. Report back if it glows or not. Also you might include the first two numbers of the serial number so I can make sure we're talking about the same series machine.

SOURCE: dryer spins but does not dry clothes

It may not be your heating element. Your dryer lint vent pipe out the back of the machine or maybe out the side may be plugged. You have to pull the machine out and clear that pipe or rebuild it out to a soffit vent or static vent if it is in the attic, or out through your crawl space. This will make a huge difference. If that hot air and moisture doesn't get out of the machine it just goes back into your clothes.
Good luck!!

My dryer won't heat up. where is fuse box for kenmore stackable 41794813301

Behind this drum on the upper left hand corner is the fuse

11_3_2011_1_26_40_am.jpg
If it was tripped however the dryer would not operate as it is tied into the door switch.

You can get a restring kit for less than 20 bucks for these

11_3_2011_1_29_20_am.jpg
Get top off then the controls off there then remove the front like this:

The heater is on the back side of the drum so it has to come on out
I did a repair on a similar dryer last year and took some photos

Kenmore Stackable washer/dryer Model #11088752793, won't heat

Hi,
Either the elements have blown, or it could be a device called a thermal overload which has popped. (There may also be a loose wire which connects to the heating elements). Have your drier checked out by a good handyman or technician.
Best wishes,
