This is what I came up with. Just pass the screw through the nail puller in a flat bar. Use a block of wood to protect the door, and press down on the other end. A lot easier than anything else I've tried.

True GDM-49 The unit even with the thermostat set as high as it will go will only cool to about 60 degrees.

You mean 'low as it can go', talking temperature not numbers. The temperature is too high. You need a refrigeration engineer. You either need a top up of gas or the thermostat has failed. They are great fridges, I have had lots of them in my career.

How do I replace a broken door spring?

You can call a local garage door repair shop to get replacements. They should have springs that will work with your garage door depending on if the door is for a single-car or double-car garage, or if the door is made out of wood versus steel. Usually both of your springs will have to be replaced for safety reasons. You should not replace the spring yourself unless you are a trained professional with the proper equipment because the springs are very dangerous and cause serious injury.

Change springs on garage door

It's is straight forward. Select a replacement spring with the same tension color as the original spring. The color is applied to one of the hooks. Above all thread the safety wire through the center of the spring.

One of the doors will not close

The top hinge has a spring to close door. You can see a pin in a hole on top against a stop pin. Removing pin and winding up the hinge spring helps, find an Allen wrench that fits the other holes to assist. If winding one direction makes worse go the other direction. A new hinge may be in order. I can get you one if you need it. [email protected]

The light bulb burnt out. It is located in the center of the fridge between the two doors. I'm not sure how to remove the bulb in order to replace it.

Unplug the cooler to avoid a shock. Try pulling bulb up and then out from bottom. The bulb should be resting in spring loaded receptacles.
