6 disk cd error 01 pathfinder

I want to remove the 6 disk changer so i can get out the cds and hopefully fix it... how do i removce the faux wood etc to do this?

I have the same problem but I can eject the cd's. it just won't play them. I also would like to know how I can remove the cd player from the dash.

Is there anyway to get cds out or fix a 2007 Cadillac cts 6 cd changer reads "CD Mech error"?

you will have to remove the CD changer and on the back should be a cassette release button , that will get the cd's out, as for the error message i would expect that it will need to be repaired or even replaced , hope this helps

you really need to take the cd changer out of the dash,and then open the cd changer ,is one of you cds is making the problem,ones is remove it should be working fine,good luck

the radio is failed internally, you need a new radio - its possibly jambed and you can remove the top plate on the radio and remove the discs - but it might lock up again

As the consumer there is nothing U can do to fix this problem, the error code is for a radio technician with the right technical publications and tools to fix the problem, you will have to pull the radio/CD player and send it out for repair with an authorized Lexus sound system repair station.

ritate the first 3 disc and try them in lot 4 5 6 it is not worth the trouble to repair the magazine could be bad but they sell pretty cheap used easy exchanged
