I would like to register my new tom-tom 60

Install the Tom Tom software to your computer. Connect you Tom Tom to the computer using the usb cable provided. Run the Tom Tom program to register unit (make sure you have an internet connection) and got to the maps to download what you need.

go to tom tom web site.reg my drive.email etc.on screen instructions.conect tom tom to laptop,and turn on ur.tom tom laptop can also back up maps etc.

Look up Tom Tom directly on the Internet and download the latest Tom Tom "Home" program. Make sure the Tom Tom you are using is the one that was originally set up to your account. If you have bought a new Tom Tom, it wont work until you have registered the new device. I had the same problem. I replaced an old Tom Tom with a new one and my old account wouldn't work as it kept saying the devices were not the same and that my email details were already in use for another unit.. I had to email Tom Tom to correct the account details.

Before you start using your (new) TomTom GPS device, you'll want to charge it (fully) first. It may take a couple of hours of more to do the first charge. And then, you can connect it to your PC , go to the TomTom.com web site and register the device.

I am trying to REgister and receive but I dont know where to go.

You need to go to tom tom website and create an account and under that account you can register. Another way is to get a usb cable and that design for your tom tom and it will automatically register through the company website.

I'm still wanting to know how I retrieve my $20AUD after buying my new tom tom XL340

when your registered it with tom tom they take note of your maps
check your online tom tom account and it should let you re-download your maps.

I you backed it up to your computer you can also restore the maps from there with the tomtom home software
