We've suddenly lost all access to our analogue and digital channels!
First error message was about the signal (I think).
A new error message says that there are no digital channels and the only digital channel is "000" and is blank.
PS We've had no problems receiving the channels in the past - there's also a second digital receiver in the house and we've no problems with that...
PPS Slightly different model spec from above, but v similar
On the TV remote:
1. press MENU
external entry is highlight
2. right press outer circle
scroll down to video 4 (satellite entry assignment _ it could be video 3 or another number selected depending of your configuration)
3. right press outer circle
if you on TV is settle on an HD channel, on the left corner of your screen you will see 1080i _ hope it will fix your problem.
It could be helpful to read your manual. 1431
Hello - I just posted something too. Not sure if its the same problem as yours. If you get a response from elsewhere, please let me know. I'll do the same.
In our case we have a blank screen with a bar running across the top of the screen reading 'No signal' on left side and 'C611' on the right side. The 611 might be the last channel we were on !

Hello Thei Orion model Tv is not equipped with a digital tuner inside. There is only an analogue tuner fitted and only analogue channels can be received by this set. To get digital channels, you have to buy one settop box, which can convert digital signals to analogue signals. In short, a Digital to Analogue Converter should be bought, if you want to get digital channels. OK.
Hi there I am assuming your new TV is now Digital. If so, it will be looking for a different signal to the old TV which was probably analogue. You may need a aerial upgrade/diagnostic to determine if you are recieving a digital signal. Or you can tune in the analogue channels, by switching the new TV to analogue, through the inputs/menu, and then i suggest autotune. Hope this helps TV_Doctor
According to the manual I looked at, this TV has only one antenna input. This means that analog is available if you let the TV do a full autoprogram of memory. It might take it several minutes to complete, but once its done you should have analog and digital if available. If you were looking for analog channel 5 then you would just enter 5-0 but digital channel 5 would be 5-1.
The transition from analogue TV broadcasting has been painfull in some areas. the only way to get out of this frustration is to buy yourself a digital set top box . This will convert the digital TV signals to analogue form so that your TV can pick them clearly. In any case ,the trend is to have all analogue transmissions phased out altogether
The problem has cleared itself a day later after being switched on/off a few times.I suspect the 'computer part' of the TV (channel processor, instruction decoder etc) received maybe a power glitch or an illegal infrared instruction (2 remotes used at once for example) and 'locked up' leaving just the analogue side operating. I was going to continue happily using it with just the analogue side slaved to my Hd recorder for digital signals but it seems to have got over whatever it was that upset it.
Are you getting a snowy picture, If so, you`re still on analogue. If you are on a digital channel with say no signal, you should get a blank screen with either a message saying no signal or a dot on the screen. Ian
