I own a Garmin also, Garmin will sell you a CD for the specific area you are in but they do not sell for one specific area. Such as you just want a map of Cyprus in your unit. You will get that and all the area around Cyprus. If you google Garmin and go to there official website it will give you the information on what is on each of the CD's they are selling to their customers.

Maps of Europe for Garmin GPS devices can be purchased on line. You'll need a USB cable to connect the Garmin to your computer. Then, with the USB cable connected, go to http://www.garmin.com
On the web site, first register your product. Then look for "Support" and follow their instructions for updating your software. (Software updates are free.) After you've done that, look for "Maps" on the menu at the top of the
screen. By the way, maps are huge files, so plan on the map download and installation taking several hours or maybe even overnight to update your maps even if you have a fast internet connection.
