Here is the link to all the support options for your printer including user manual and troubleshooting if you need it; http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/product?product=421991&lc=en&cc=uk&dlc=en&lang=en&cc=uk first follow this troubleshooting procedure if you have a windows pc connected; http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/document?docname=c00093466&lc=en&cc=uk&dlc=en&product=421991&rule=36216&lang=en and this one for Mac; http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/document?docname=c00108051&lc=en&cc=uk&dlc=en&product=421991&rule=36216&lang=en Hopefully this will resolve the issue, especially the third item about turning off the paper type sensor. any help you need with any of the procedures, please ask again. If this doesn't work, then; Make sure your drivers are up to date and not corrupted - download new drivers from; http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/softwareCategory?lc=en&cc=uk&dlc=en&product=421991&rule=36216&lang=en& see if you can borrow another printer from someone (doesn't have to be the same, but that would be best), install it and then see if you get the same problem, confirming if the data transfer from the pc is or is not the problem. If the other printer works fine, then the next thing to suspect would be the power supply - try plugging into a different power socket, and try and get hold of a new power adaptor and see if that works. Replace any connecting cables to the pc with new good ones, just in case that is the problem. Hope this helps, if the machine prints at all then it should be fixable :)
