You can artificially pollinate the flowers by taking a q-tip and gently rubbing the inside of the flower to gather pollen. Then take the q-tip and insert it into other flowers. Hope this helps but it seems you either need some bees or q-tips to help this. Q-tips are safer.

SOURCE: my cherry tomatoes are up.. do I need to thin them

If they are the indeterminant sort, one plant is just the thing. If they are determinant, then you may have room for additional plants ,as they will not keep adding to their mass. Happy gardening:)

I have two christmas cactuses. One blossoms the other does not. WHY?

How does a Christmas cactus know when to bloom?
Care of Christmas Cactus in Bloom. Christmas cactus plants should continue receiving dark, cool treatment for at least 6-8 weeks, or until buds begin forming. Once buds have formed, it usually takes up to 12 weeks (or less) for blooms to appear. The plant should also be relocated at this time.29 Jan 2015

Why home grown tomotos might turn black on the bottom?

Here you go. I found this to help you out.

Tomato plants tend to develop blossom-end rot when they receive uneven amounts of moisture. For example, plants that go from being too dry to too wet, then back, are susceptible to the disease. To prevent this, water your tomatoes regularly. Removing affected fruit can prevent blossom-end rot from spreading to new tomatoes. Tomato plants need 1 inch of water per week, on average.

Spots on tomatoes

If the spots are mostly at the bottom of the tomato, more like one blotch, it is from not having enough lime in your soil. It is called bottom rot.Putting lime in the soil is called sweetening the soil with lime. This is what you need to do for bottom rot. If it is in other places and more than one spot, it could be from insects crawling on and defecating on the tomatoes or maybe a type of fungus or mold. Hope you only need garden lime. It will save your tomatoes from bottom rot since it is early in the year.
