Reset Acer windows password, you should tell us what the Os do you use first.
On XP you can try this:
Boot computer and press Ctrl+Alt+Delete twice when you See Windows welcome screen / login screen. It'll show classic login box. Now type "Administrator" (without quotes) in username field and leave password field blank, press Enter and you should be able to login Windows.
Now you can reset your account password from "Control Panel -> User Accounts".
On Win 7 or Vista:
Ctrl+Alt+Delete won't work, you have to use some windows password recovery software. I recommend Windows Password Reset

I did not notice the top question. What windows is this? You might have to find someone that has a disk that can boot up your computer to change the password for you. I have a disk like that, so I know someone else should have one. If you do not want to do that, you will have to re-load Windows to change the password and you will lose everything. If you do not have important stuff on it, that is the best thing to do. You could put the hard drive in an external drive case and plug it into another computer to save anything that needs to be saved.

Start the laptop and press F8 to go into safemode. Once boots up, go to control panel and click on user account. There will be option to remove password or reset password.
