Question about Dell Dimension 4600 PC Desktop
DJDXL, it sounds like when you copied the IP settings from the other computer on your network, you copied the Static IP address from that computer as well. This is most likely the reason you're seeing the conflicting IP address - they both want to be 184.108.40.206 (insert your own IP address here). You should change them so they are using different numbers on the final set of digits - for example, 220.127.116.11 and 18.104.22.168 - the last numbers must NOT match, but the first three sets should match.
Give that a try, hope this helps!

If it is telling you there is a conflict the drivers are working it is the properties of the network card that are incorrect. Click Start>Run, then type ipconfig /flushdns then press enter.(note the gap between ipconfig and the /). Go to the properties of your network card and on the TCP/IP line click properties and tick 'Obtain ip address automatically'
