Question about Canon PowerShot A75 Digital Camera
When i tried to turn on the camera the display showed E30 which i later found out from the manual is an error message. This messaga showed up only once. After this happened whenever i tried to turnon the camera,it would be on only for a while(about 4to 5 seconds) and then it would turn off. This repeats whenever i turn on the camera. What could have gone wrong?
Hi Chittu, This error usually happens when there's problem reading and writing from the Flash memory card (CF). Did you try to pull the memory card before the camera finished writing data? Here's what you should do - try using another memory card. If it works, it means that the original one is damaged. Let me know if this helped. Please rank this post.

When an error occurs the camera will display an error code like "Exx", where "x" represent numbers.
See the list items at the bottom of this page when it shows following error codes.
"E18" error of the target unit / lens barrel
"E30" and "E50" error of the CF or SD card
When an error code "Exx" different from those already mentioned, the camera off and then turn to try to capture or play back images.
If this error persists or an error code appears often, there was a malfunction of the camera.
Note the error code and contact the retailer where you purchased the camera or the nearest service center for Canon.
I hope this helps
